How VCI works?

VCI (Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor) – volatile corrosion inhibitors for corrosion protection. They protect the metal surface against corrosion in an efficient and long-lasting way.

VCI products contain volatile corrosion inhibitors. Corrosion inhibitor compounds vaporize from the paper or film. The VCI molecules align on the surface of the metal to a depth of 3 to 5 molecules. This layer of molecules passivates the charged surface and creates a barrier that prevents oxidation.

VCI molecules interact at a distance of 30 cm,  migrate into recesses and hard to reach areas on even the most complex shapes.
